About

Nazar Symotiuk — Ukrainian Artist Working With Minimalist Wooden Reliefs
I am a Ukrainian artist whose practice focuses on minimalist wooden reliefs that explore subconscious rhythms, inner structures, and the geometry of human experience.
My artworks merge color, pattern, and tactile wooden surfaces to reveal the invisible highways of the mind — the micro-movements of thought, memory, and intuition. Vibrant hues and precise forms create moments of pause and reflection, inviting viewers into a space of sensory clarity.
Across all series — from Highways of the Unconscious to Metastases, Waves, and Color Objects — I explore how repetition, structure, and color affect perception and emotional resonance. Each piece is built entirely by hand: thousands of wooden elements, layered textures, and meticulously measured compositions.
I currently live and work in Lviv, Ukraine. My artworks are represented in private collections in Europe and the United States.
