About the artwork

"Monochrome movement" is part of the Color Fields series, where broad chromatic surfaces create a meditative visual space. Here colour is reduced to black, grey and white: concentric rings of wooden elements spiral out from the centre of a round panel, so the surface seems to rotate and ripple as the viewer moves.
