About the artwork

“Over the Horizon” belongs to the Impressions series (2018), inspired by Impressionism — not a depiction of nature, but an abstraction of its moods, atmosphere and shifting light, rendered in geometric relief and wood. Two panels form a landscape: a pale, textured field above and a band of horizontal coloured stripes below, meeting at an imagined horizon.
