About the artwork

“Red Field (Impression)” belongs to the Impressions series (2018), inspired by Impressionism — not a depiction of nature, but an abstraction of its moods, atmosphere and shifting light, rendered in geometric relief and wood. A warm red field of wooden elements with a band of white and blue points along the lower edge, like a field at sunset.

Materials: wood, MDF, acrylic, enamel

Technique: Author’s mixed technique

Year: 2018

In the collection of Mercury Art Center, Lviv.
